Boy Meets Boy: America’s first gay dating show

Of course James, The Exceptional Gay Man (TEGM), doesn’t know that half the men are straight — boy, won’t it be a hoot when he finds out? — which makes his earnest enthusiasm for his role as the gay bachelor all the more heartbreaking.”

Driving home from work yesterday, I heard a commercial for this new sordid television program on the local news-talk station here. As bad as things are, I still couldn’t believe my ears. It was a stunning new low, beyond depraved — on a 50,000 watt radio station between news segments! When, if ever, will we have had enough? What will be the last straw? Christ, have mercy.
